Common woven fabrics mainly include three categories: plain weave, twill weave, and satin weave, with specific varieties covering various materials such as cotton, wool, silk, linen, and synthetic fibers.

Plain weave fabric

Plain weave is the most basic woven structure, with warp and weft yarns interlaced every other strand, possessing the characteristics of firm texture and smooth surface. Common varieties include:

Cotton: flat cloth (coarse flat cloth, medium flat cloth, fine flat cloth), poplin, bali yarn (glass yarn), linen yarn, canvas. ‌‌‌‌
Mao type: Fanli Ding, Paili Si, Bo Hua Na. ‌‌
Silk: electrospinning, chiffon, taffeta, double crepe. ‌‌
Hemp: summer cloth, linen cloth. ‌‌
Chemical fiber: Cotton fabric (viscose flat fabric), polyester spinning. ‌‌

Twill fabric

The twill weave is formed by interweaving two or more warp and weft yarns to form diagonal patterns, which have a softer texture and better luster. Typical varieties include:

Cotton: twill, khaki, denim. ‌‌‌‌
Wool: serge, huada, what flavor, uniforms. ‌‌
Silk types: silk twill, beautiful silk. ‌‌

Satin fabric

Satin weave is characterized by long floating lines, with a smooth surface and strong luster, commonly found in high-end fabrics:

Cotton: horizontal satin, straight satin. ‌‌
Hair type: formal dress. ‌‌
Silk: plain satin, woven brocade, soft satin. ‌‌‌‌
