Sportswear fabrics mainly include functional synthetic fibers (such as polyester, nylon, spandex) and naturally modified fibers (such as Merino wool), as well as composite technology surfaces, to meet the needs of moisture wicking, elasticity, breathability and other sports needs.

Polyester
Advantages: Wear resistant, wrinkle resistant, fast drying, enhanced sweat wicking efficiency through irregular cross-sectional design (such as COOLMAX's cross groove structure). ‌‌
Application: Widely used in running clothes, quick drying T-shirts, etc. ‌‌

Nylon.
Advantages: Lightweight, high-strength and wear-resistant, good wind resistance, commonly used in outdoor sportswear and backpacks. ‌‌
Disadvantages: The hand feel is relatively hard, and it needs to be blended with other fibers to improve comfort. ‌‌

Spandex.
Advantages: High elasticity (elongation rate over 400%), often blended with polyester or nylon to enhance freedom of movement. ‌‌
Application: Yoga pants, tight sportswear. ‌‌

Natural and Modified Fibers

Merino wool.
Advantages: Natural moisture absorption and sweat wicking (with a water absorption capacity of up to 35% of its own weight), antibacterial and deodorizing properties, suitable for environments ranging from -15 ℃ to 35 ℃. ‌‌
Application: High intensity sports such as skiing and hiking. ‌‌

Knitted cotton.
Advantages: Breathable and skin friendly, suitable for low-intensity exercise; But pure cotton is prone to moisture absorption and weight gain, and has gradually been replaced by functional synthetic fibers. ‌‌
